SoSoft Mediums & Specialty Paints - Hints:
  • Colour Resist - Before application, stretch over a hoop frame for best results. This allows the resist to penetrate the fabric and leaves clean lines. The yellow colour lets you see where you are placing the resist on your projects. It will wash out when you wash out the Colour Resist. Apply So-Soft acrylic paint when Colour Resist is dry to the touch. After you have painted the SoSoft acrylic paint over the Colour Resist, allow it to cure for 48 hours and follow the washing instructions on the paint label. Do not hand wash to remove the Colour Resist. This may also remove the paint. If the Colour Resist does not wash out completely, removing all the paint that covered it, increase the water temperature and wash again. Loose pieces of paint clinging to the fabric can be removed by gently rubbing with a fingernail.
