Heirloom Bleached 100% Cotton uses only the best cleaned and bleached cotton.
Unique needle punching and subsequent manufacturing techniques make the product easy to quilt, yet able to quilt up to 4 inches apart. like another cotton, Heirloom Bleached cotton batting will shrink from 3-5%. If minimal shrinkage is desired, the product can be preshrunk prior to quilting. it is wonderful for hand or machine quilting and is made especially for quilters using white or light-colored fabrics in a quilt.
There may be slight discoloration on some of the bats on a small patch of the outer layer making the color similar to the natural unbleached cotton color. You may be able to bleach this small area if the quilt you are making is white. The price has been lowered considerably to allow for this.
