6mm Chenille Sticks This is the most popular size. Chenille sticks are colourful, economical safe and easy for children to use in many craft applications. They can be bent, rolled cut and twisted to make all kinds of shapes and animals with the addition of glue, pompoms and some small joggle eyes. Cut they make a simple and attractive tie for closing cello gift bags.

The beautiful Butterflies Kit (see Kits for Children) uses 6mm chenille stems. By pulling and rolling these fluffy stems and using a little imagination you can create some amazing little decorative shapes. They are great for kids to create with. Add a couple of joggle eyes, some beads or bits of felt and a whole range of critters can be made. A great learning activity for the little ones, whilst developing fine motor skills.
